ENvironmental INFORMATION
To help minimise any impacts on nature and the landscape, in developing NeuConnect’s undersea and on-shore cable routes a number of environmental studies have been undertaken by specialist ecological consultancies. This included an Environmental Impact Assessment which sought to understand:
- the existing environmental conditions of the area in which NeuConnect would be built and operated
- the likely significant environmental effects that could occur during construction and operation of NeuConnect
- the proposed mitigation measures that NeuConnect will implement during construction and operation.
